What is Fast Track?
The Fast Track Security lane service allows you to save time through security and make the best use of your airport travel time. You will have access to a dedicated Fast Track channel with flight status updates via text message also.
How do I book Fast Track?
- Click hereto pre-book Fast Track.
- Enter your date and time of travel, select Terminal 1 or 2 and how many tickets you would like.
- Fill in the names of the passengers and your email address, and follow the instructions on the payment page.
If you don't pre-book Fast Track, you can also use Tap-and-Go where you tap your card at the Fast Track entrance to contactless pay.
How much does Fast Track cost?
Fast Track is priced between €7.99 - €13.99 and is dependent on date and time of travel.
How close to my date/time of travel can I pre-book Fast Track?
The Fast Track Security service can be booked up to 5 minutes in advance before your requested time to travel through Fast Track Security in Terminals 1 and 2.
How do I know my Fast Track booking has been accepted?
On completion of the booking process you will:
- Receive your booking confirmation notice while you are still online.
- Receive an email confirmation at the email address you provided when making the online booking.
- Bookings made through the Dublin Airport App will be automatically added to the ‘My Bookings’ section of the app.
- These confirmations set out the details of your booking and include your unique booking reference number.
Is it possible to amend or cancel a Fast Track booking?
It is possible to amend or cancel a booking, however it must be up to 4 hours in advance of the pre-booked arrival time. Please go to 'Manage Booking' here to amend or cancel your booking.
Can I book Fast Track for when I arrive back into Dublin Airport?
No, Fast Track is available for departing flights only.
What are the opening times for Fast Track?
- Terminal 1: From 04.00 to 21.00
- Terminal 2: From 04.00 to 18:00
What methods of payment can I use to pre-book Fast Track online?
VISA, VISA Debit and Master Card.
What do I need to bring to get access to Fast Track?
To gain access to the Fast Track boarding pass channel, please present the QR code for your Fast Track booking in the Dublin Airport App or from your booking confirmation email. This QR code can be printed or scanned from your phone.
If you don't pre-book Fast Track prior to your arrival, you can also use Tap-and-Go where you tap your card at the Fast Track entrance to contactless pay.
Can I use my Fast Track voucher in other airports?
No, this service is for Dublin Airport only.
Will my Fast Track voucher still be valid in case of a delay or early arrival?
Yes, you can arrive up to 15 minutes in advance of the pre-booked arrival time and 30 minutes after the pre-booked arrival time. E.g. if you booked to arrive at 10 am, the system will recognise your booking anytime between 9:30 am and 10:30 am on the arrival day.
Do children need their own Fast Track voucher?
Children up to 2 years of age at the moment of travelling go free of charge. Children older than 2 years of age need their own Fast Track voucher.
Where is Fast Track located?
Fast Track is located on the departures level in Terminal 1 and 2.
- Terminal 1: Departures (Level 2) at check-in area 4
- Terminal 2: Departures (Level 2) on the left side of departures
Can I add my Fast Track booking to the Dublin Airport App?
Bookings made through the Dublin Airport App will be automatically added to the ‘My Bookings’ screen in the app. You can also manually add a booking to the app using your email address and the booking reference, which you can find in your booking confirmation email.
Why can I only see one of my Fast Track bookings in the Dublin Airport App?
The next upcoming booking of each product type is viewable on the Dublin Airport App home screen under ‘My Bookings’. If you have more than one Fast Track booking, you can view all of your bookings by clicking ‘View All’ on the home screen or visiting the ‘My Bookings’ screen within the ‘Services’ tab.
Can I share my Fast Track booking?
You can share Fast Track bookings individually on the Dublin Airport App. Open your Fast Track booking, click on the share icon and send your ticket as an image with all relevant booking details included. If you have multiple passes as part of one booking, you can swipe through each QR code and share them individually.
Does removing my booking from the Dublin Airport App cancel my booking?
No, removing bookings from the Dublin Airport App does not cancel the booking. Please go to 'Manage Booking' here to amend or cancel your booking.
